Ingredients

Chickpea – 250 gms
Onion – 1 big
Bell pepper – 2 whole
Garlic – 5 pods


Chili powder – 1 tbsp
Cumin powder – 1 tsp
Chili flakes – 1 tbsp
Coriander leaves – 1 hand hold


Basil leaves – a few
Lemon – 1
Olive oil – 100 ml
Salt as per taste

Method
  • Soak the chickpea for 8 hours and cook with salt. Drain the water and fry them lightly on low heat with oil and chili powder.
  • In a mixing bowl, add the chickpea, sauteed onion and bell pepper. Mix well.
  • Add cumin powder, chili flakes, garlic, squeeze the lemon, oil, coriander leaves and basil leaves. Mix all the ingredients together, serve fresh.
Tips
  •  For best results, mix 100 gms Milkmaid with the milk.
  • Grind few cashews along with the dates.
