Ingredients

Cardamom powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Ghee – 1 tablespoon


Sugar – 100 to 200 gms
Almonds, finely chopped – 10


Milk – 500 ml
Dates – 100 gms

Method
  • Bring milk to a slow boil, add sugar and cardamom powder.
  • Coarsely grind the dates, reserving a few for garnish.
  • When milk has reduced to half, add the ground dates, mix well and remove from heat.
  • Keep in fridge for 30 minutes.
  • Serve chilled with slightly fried almonds in ghee and a date
Tips
  •  For best results, mix 100 gms Milkmaid with the milk.
  • Grind few cashews along with the dates.
